With Theme Locator you can :

  • Browse a complete saved list of all your theme source files.
  • Locate a theme source file quickly when adding a theme to a view.
  • Identify the ArcView projects where each theme is used.
  • Scan your hard drive and locate all of your theme source files.
  • Save a complete list of all your theme source file names and their locations.
  • Sort the theme list by name, file location, entiy and type.
GeoSnap's Theme Locator  is an ArcView extension and Visual Basic application that searches your disk drives for ArcInfo coverages, shape files, and CAD drawing files..  In addition, Theme Locator finds ArcView project (apr) files and scans them to determine which themes are used in each project.  Theme Locator  replaces   ArcView's standard  "Add Theme" button with a selection list of all the theme sources that were found during the search.   The coverage, shape file, and CAD  list is saved until the next search.
